EC4904: Principles of Economics (1st Year Undergraduate)

• No of Years Taught: 1
• Role: Module Leader/Lecturer
• Topics Covered: Introductory Microeconomics & Macroeconomics, Demand and Supply Analysis, Elasticity, Utility, Consumer Choice, Producer Cost Theory, Market Structures and Analysis, GDP, Cost of Living, Growth and Productivity, Labour Market & Unemployment, Money & Banking, Income Expenditure Model.
• Teaching Methods Employed: Blended Delivery Module, Weekly Video Lectures and monthly in-person lectures, weekly activities on VLE (problem sets, tests, etc.), applied take-home final exam.

EC4101 & EC4111: Microeconomics (Business and Non-business) (1st Year Undergraduate)

• No of Years Taught: 6
• Role: Lead TA, coordinated all tutorial teaching on module, administration of over 600 students, teaching up to 10 tutorial sessions per week.
• Topics Covered: Introductory Microeconomics, Demand and Supply Analysis, Elasticity, Utility, Consumer Choice, Producer Cost Theory, Market Structures and Analysis.
• Teaching Methods Employed: Classroom discussion, group work, in-class assignments, examination preparation, open floor questions.

EC4102 & EC4112: Macroeconomics (Business and Non-business) (1st Year Undergraduate)

• Role: Lead TA, coordinated all tutorial teaching and administration on module, taught weekly tutorials, and delivered online live sessions through Big Blue Button and MS Teams.
• Topics Covered: Introductory Macroeconomics, GDP, Cost of Living, Growth and Productivity, Labour Market & Unemployment, Money & Banking, Income Expenditure Model, IS – LM, AD – AS, Fiscal and Monetary Policy, The Phillips Curve.

EC4004: Economics for Business (2nd Year Undergraduate)

EC4404: Applied Economic Analysis (2nd Year Undergraduate)

EC4307: Econometrics (3rd Year Undergraduate)

• Topics Covered: Economic Modelling, Regression Analysis, OLS, Statistics, Classical Linear Regression, Homoscedasticity, Autocorrelation, Multicollinearity, Gauss-Markov Theorem, Hypothesis Testing, Multiple-Regression Analysis, Model Estimation, STATA, and R.
• Teaching Methods Employed: In-class workshops, applied data and programming instruction, facilitating group assignments and discussion.

EC4427: Managerial Economics (4th Year Undergraduate)

• Topics Covered: Advanced Microeconomics, Theory of the firm, Corporate Governance, Demand Analysis, Demand Estimation, Plant Optimisation, Make or Buy, and Production Analysis.

EC4018 & EC4418: Monetary Economics (4th Year Undergraduate)

• Topics Covered: Wage & Price Setting Theory, Money, Banking and Financial Systems, Unemployment, Inflation, Technological Progress, Creative Destruction, Institutions, and Instability.

EC4408: Public Finance (4th Year Undergraduate)
